NFL All Time Rushing Leaders

Sportscity brings you a list of the Top 30 NFL All Time Rushing Leaders heading in to the 2009 season. Emmitt Smith's career rushing total will not be in jeopardy for years to come. Arizona Cardinal running back Edgerrin James (11th, 12,121 yards) is the highest ranked active RB, and he is over 6,000 yards behind Smith. There is a good chance that LaDainian Tomlinson passes James next season to take over the active rushing yards leader.
