The Jays made several roster moves today centered around their middle infield. Russ Adams was recalled after a 17 game stint with the Syracuse Sky Chiefs to learn the second base position. Adams committed 4 errors in those 17 games, with almost all of them coming in within the first few games. Adams was also batting over .330 with 6 RBI's.

John McDonald was activated from the 15 day DL today.

Alfonzo, who was filling in at second base, was released by the team today. Defensively he played pretty well, but his bat was the issue. He was hitting .162 in 37 at bats with the Jays, after being claimed off waivers from the Angels where he hit .100 in 50 at bats.

Luis Figuerora was sent back to Syracuse after limited playing time with the Jays. He appeared in 8 games, but only had 9 at bats.
