It appears now that the Blue Jays were not satisfied enough with Gustavo Chacin's rehab starts. So instead of starting Saturday against the Baltimore Orioles, he will make another rehab start, most likely at Syracuse. Scott Down's is penciled in to make the start against Baltimore

Left handed pitcher Davis Romero was recalled by the Blue Jays to take the place of Scott Schoeneweis.

John Hattig was called up from Syracuse to take Eric Hinske's spot on the roster.
