With the Jays going on a 6 game road trip to Florida and Atlanta, they were to lose Shea Hillenbrand's bat from the lineup because of the no DH rule in the National League. Gibbon's didn't want this to happen, so Troy Glaus will shift over to short stop and Hillenbrand will play third. Aaron Hill will then see some time at second.
When Halladay is pitching, Gibbon's will field their best defensive team. Meaning Hillenbrand will be out, Glaus back to third and Hill at short.
Glaus to Play Some Short Stop
