The Blue Jays have traded disgruntled 1B/3B/DH Shea Hillenbrand two days after kicking him off of the team. They packaged Shea, along with reliever Vinnie Chulk to the Giants for Jeremy Accardo. Who? I've never heard of this guy before. But that is not too surprising since we don't here much about National League teams on the west coast.

Accardo, is a 24 year old right handed reliever, appearing in 38 games and 40 1/3 innings. He has a record of 1-3 and unlike most of the Blue Jay relievers, his ERA is under 5, but not by much, 4.91. He has issued 11 walks and has struck out 40 batters. Accardo, appeared in 28 games in his rookie season last year, recording a 1-5 record with a 3.94 ERA.
