Scout Inc. published today the details of Frank Thomas's option year for the 2+1 year contract he signed with the Blue Jays today. The $10 million option for the 2009 season will kick in if the The Big Hurt reaches 1050 plate appearances in the first two years, or 525 plate appearances during the 2008 season.
