Vernon Wells was awarded his third consecutive American League Golden Glove Award yesterday. Wells committed 4 errors and had a .988 fielding percentage. Vernon makes it look easy in the outfield, getting a good jumps on balls allows him to glide into position, almost Devo'esque. Ichiro and Torii Hunter was also Gold Glove winners, both for the sixth time.

Other AL winners were: P Kenny Rogers (5th gold glove), C Ivan Rodriguez (12), 1B Mark Teixeira (2), 2B Mark Grudzielanek (1), SS Derek Jeter (3) and 3B Eric Chavez (6).

The National League Gold Glove winners will be announced today.
