Thanks for coming out David Wells. Rios and Wells each hit their 3rd HR, and Molina his 2nd HR off Wells last night. Good old David gave up 7 runs in 4 innings of work.
Rios had one of his best games of his young career going 3 for 4, with 4 RBI's and 2 runs. His double would probably have been out of most parks. I'm glad they didn't give up him and deal him over the winter, they were rumored to be listening to offers. Rios has hit the ball hard in almost every at bat he's had this year. The power that everyone has said will eventually come, seems to have arrived. Sure we're only 8 games into the season, but he has 3 round trippers already. 2 years ago, it took him somewhere around 300 at bats to hit his first. That was the year the Jays rushed him to the majors. He's still only 25 years old, and has all the tools to be a really good all around player.
