The Jays are in Los Angeles, or Anaheim, or wherever the Angels are playing these days for a 3 game series. Ted Lilly and his 4-2 record faces the 3-1 Ervin Santana in the series opener tonight. Probable starting pitchers for the rest of the series are: C. Janssen (1-3) vs. K. Escobar (5-2) and R. Halladay (5-1) vs J. Lackey (3-3) in the finale.

After Josh Tower's first good outing and victory on Sunday, the negative press has shifted over to the struggling Russ Adams and Aaron Hill for the time being. There is an article in the Toronto Star outlining the struggles the duo are having so far this season. The one positive that came out of Tower's pitching problems, was that the media was focused on him and not Adams and Hill who have been in a slump for almost the entire season. With rest of the team of team hitting well so far, has also lessened the pressure on these two. They are both only in there second season, and are going to struggle as they are still learning the game.
