Five Blue Jays were named to the American League All-Star team, although it looks like only 4 will be able to play. Third baseman, Troy Glaus, starter Roy Halladay, closer B.J. Ryan and outfielders Vernon Wells and Alex Rios. Due to Rios's leg infection, and the fact that he is currently on the DL, he may not be able to participate in the game which is too bad considering the fine season he has had so far.
Glaus was fourth in fan voting for third baseman with just under 970,000 votes. Wells was fifth in AL outfielders voting with over 1.5 million votes.
