The Blue Jays have just signed short stop Royce Clayton to a 1 year, $1.5 million contract, pending a physical. Aaron Hill will now be the everyday second baseman next season.

The Jays are still chasing starting pitchers Ted Lilly and Gil Meche. They will only be able to afford one of the two. Meche was in town last night with J.P. at the Leafs game
