Hard throwing Brandon League has worked his way back to the majors. League, who has been one of the Jays top pitching prospects for several years, was recalled yesterday to take the spot of Pete Walker who was placed on the 15-day DL with a shoulder injury. League has pitched well at Syracuse this season, appearing in 31 games with a 2.14 ERA. He has struck out 43 batters in 53 2/3 innings while only walking 15.
