Playoff Hoops Awards for May 12th 2011
The Wilt Chamberlain Award:

| Dwyane Wade --- 34 pts, 10 reb, 5 asst, 8 FTM, 4 stl, 1 blk, 0 treys, and 13-19 FG%...Wade was huge for the Heat last night...when no one else could get going in the 1st half, he scored 23 to keep them close. He then found Lebron on some passes early 3rd Q, getting his mate going on some wide open looks. That confidence carried over for Lebron to late 4th Q, when he scored the last 10 pts of the game, throwing the last piles of dirt on the Celtics grave. | |||
The Charles Smith Award
|
|||
| Zach Randolph --- 9 pts, 7 reb, 0 asst, 3 FTM, 1 stl, 0 blk, 0 treys, and 3-9 FG% in 36 minutes...Zach has been stupendous in these playoffs, averaging 37.4 combined pts, rebs, & assts going into last nights game. But he was coming off the 3 OT Mon night epic, and he's not exactly a lean, mean, in-dynamic-shape machine now, is he? The skinny athletic (Westy, Durant, Ibaka)Thunder had far more energy than their counterparts, and combined with home court, they were way too much for the Griz last night...Can't wait for Thunder/Mavs - go OKC. | |||
