Maurice Continue to Tinker with the Lines

Paul Maurice is once again juggling the lines in attempt to spark the Leafs struggling offense. At yesterday's practice, Maurice was testing out the following lines:

Sundin-Antropov-Ponikarovsky
Wellwood-Tucker-Steen
Stajan-Kilger-O'Neill
Peca-Pohl-Battaglia

But if you've watched Leaf games this season, you know that Maurice doesn't hesitate to switch the lineups during games.

Colaiacovo Should be Called Up this Week

Carlo Colaiacovo could be back up with the big club sometime this week. He's played in 2 games for the Marlies since his return for injury, and if all goes well with his 3 game conditioning stint, he'll be called up. With the Maple Leafs having trouble scoring, his presence on the Leafs blue line couldn't come at a better time. Although he won't put up big numbers on the Leafs blue line, his puck moving ability will definitely help. Playing the role of armchair G.M., I'd pair Colaiacovo with Kubina, keep McCabe and Kaberle together, with the last pairing being White and Gill. White and Gill played well together, while Gill and Kubina have struggled together.
