It's been a few days since I've written anything, and a there have been several developments over the past couple days involving the Toronto Marlies roster...errr, I mean the Toronto Maple Leafs roster.

Nik Antropov is expected back sooner than originally thought...errr, who knows when he'll be back.

Kyle Wellwood went from day-to-day to week-to-week with his groin injury. He is one player the Leafs definitely miss as he is one of the few who has an offensive upside. John Pohl has seen his ice time and production increase since taking a more offensive role in Wellwood's absence. Pohl is proving me wrong on my original assessment of giving him more ice time.

Darcy Tucker injured his foot and is questionable for tonight's game. Boyd Devereaux was called up in-case Tucker can't go. Yes, that would be the first round bust, journeyman forward Boyd Devereaux. Get well soon Darcy. I think if Tucker can put a skate on, he'll be playing. It would take a lot for Tucker to miss a game.

Mike Peca is out for a 3-4 months, although he stated yesterday he's looking at it as weeks and not months. Okay, we'll switch it to weeks then, he'll be out for 12-16 weeks. A cast will be on his leg for 6 weeks, there will be a ton of rehab for both his broken leg and knee injury.

Alexei Ponikarovsky is still out as well. So the Marlies Maple Leafs starting forwards for tonight's game could be; Sundin, Suglobov, O'Neill, Belak, Steen, Stajan, Kilger, Battaglia, Ondrus, Devereaux, Newbury, and Pohl. Yikes! J.S. Aubin will be making the start tonight.
