Well I guess it isn't that shocking, Nik Antropov is hurt. The fragile, lanky Kazakh caught a rut on the ice and hurt his ankle. The team flew to Boston for tomorrow nights game, but Antropov stayed behind to get tests done. My guess is that it wasn't as bad as McCabe's, but Antropov doesn't seem to have a pain threshold. This guy is really frustrating, he'll show you the skills of a decent hockey player for a couple of shifts, then disappear, and somewhere in his disappearing act, he'll get hurt. I have a feeling this could be the last season we see Antropov in a Leaf uniform, something fans have been screaming for years. It's time the organization gave up on him and send the $1 million elsewhere.
