Global pop music sensation Ke$ha, Grammy Award-winner hip hop artist Ludacris and Grammy Award-nominated hip hop artist B.o.B will help tip off the 2013 NBA All-Star Game when they perform during the Sprint NBA All-Star Pregame Concert on Sunday, Feb. 17. The Sprint Pregame Concert, which will be held at the NBA All-Star Jam Session Sprint Arena in Houston’s George R. Brown Convention Center, will lead up to TNT’s exclusive telecast of the 62nd NBA All-Star Game at 8 p.m. ET.
Ke$ha is known for her hits “Tik Tok”, “We R Who We R”, and “Die Young.” She’s had eight Top 10 hits throughout the course of her music career. Ludacris has had a long career that has included three Grammy awards and hits like “Stand Up”, “Money Maker”, and “Runaway Love” as well as being included in Justin Bieber’s hit single, “Baby.” B.O.B. has been nominated for multiple Grammy awards and has a #1 song, “Nothin’ On You,” that features Bruno Mars.
It’s going to be an action-packed weekend in Houston. All-Star Friday will have the Rising Stars Challenge that will include talented rookies and sophomores like star Blazers point guard Damian Lillard, the Hornets’ Anthony Davis (#1 pick of last year’s draft), and the excellent Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving. Then All-Star Saturday will include the Shooting Stars, Skills Challenge, Slam Dunk Contest, and Three-Point Shootout. The dunk contest will include the exciting James White and Gerald Green as well as Jeremy Evans defending his crown. The three-point shootout will include fantastic shooters like Stephen Curry and Steve Novak.
The All-Star Game will be played on Sunday. The musical artists mentioned above will perform before the game and then Alicia Keys will be performing at halftime.
