Another MLB record that probably will not be broken. Billy Hamilton's baseball record for most runs scored in season has held steady since 1894. Babe Ruth is on the Top 50 runs in a season list 6 times. 44 hitters have scored over 150 runs in a season. Since Ted Williams scored 150 runs in 1949, only Houston Astros Jeff Bagwell(152) in 2000 has scored over 148 runs and cracked the top 50.
