NBA Dunk Of The Week: Sixers’ Young Giving Bucks’ Sanders The Biz

dunkoftheweekIn our debut edition of “NBA Dunk of the Week”, we go to the Sixers’ Nick Young from Tuesday’s night contest against the Milwaukee Bucks.

This dunk was featured as our NBA Play Of The Day for Wednesday and it was impressive for a reason. It’s not like he dunked it on a diminutive point guard; he dunked it on the Milwaukee Bucks’ Larry Sanders. The casual fan may not know who Larry Sanders is so we’ll tell you: he’s the leading shot blocker in the game today. So for Young to do that kind of devastating dunk on a guy like Sanders, that’s really, really impressive. However, the Bucks did go on to beat the Philadelphia 76ers, 110-102. But, hey, when we’re still talking about his dunk on the weekend, then Nick Young must have done something right. So Nick “Swagy P” Young gets our award for “Dunk of the Week.” Keep doing your thing, Nick.
