Cleveland Cavaliers 87, Washington Wizards 84
The Cavaliers took the lead after going on a 9-0 run late in the game. With the Wizards down three, Jordan Crawford failed to send the game into overtime after missing a three. Cleveland won their second straight game for the first time this season while Washington lost their eighth straight game. Kyrie Irving had 26 points.

Miami Heat 105, Charlotte Bobcats 92
The Bobcats were down by 19 but had a spirited comeback in the fourth quarter. However, it fell short after Shane Battier and LeBron James made back-to-back three-pointers. The Cats lost their 16th straight game while the Heat won their sixth straight. James went for 27 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists, four steals, and two blocks.

Ryan Anderson returned to Orlando for the first time as a member of the New Orleans Hornets. Greivis Vasquez made a short clutch shot with over a minute left and the Magic couldn’t get off a good shot to send the game into overtime. Robin Lopez went for 29 points and Vasquez had 27 points, six rebounds, and eight assists. The Hornets snapped their 11-game losing streak.

Atlanta Hawks 126, Detroit Pistons 119 (2OT)
The Hawks were up 22 early in the fourth and had the game seemingly in hand but the Pistons furiously came back and even took the lead at one point with an Austin Daye three-pointer with four seconds left. Al Horford had a chance to win it in regulation with foul shots but missed the second of two. Finally, in the second overtime, Jeff Teague and Kyle Korver put the Pistons away with three-pointers. Josh Smith finished the game with 31 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals, and two blocks.

The Bucks had a big second quarter and easily put away the slumping Nets. Brandon Jennings had 25 points while Monta Ellis had 20 points, six rebounds, seven assists, and six steals. Deron Williams did not play for Brooklyn that night.
