NBA Play of the Day: Blake Griffin Throws It Down With The Left

Blake Griffin, as you know, is ridiculous.

It was so hard to choose which play from Lob City to put as Play of the Day. It was one of those nights again by the Clippers when they would have 145 highlights in one game. In the end, I chose this.

DeAndre Jordan blocked Brendan Haywood on one end. That got the Clippers fast break going that was led by Chris Paul. He had Jordan on the wing and Blake Griffin behind him. Paul chose Griffin so he passed it behind him. Blake then took off and skied.

However, Gerald Henderson tried to foul him. He impeded him just a bit but Griffin still threw down a powerful left-handed slam that got everyone at Staples Center buzzing. Incredible athleticism by Blake there.

The Clippers would go on to embarrass the Bobcats, 106-84. Those Blake dunks (and DeAndre dunks, too) were just cherries on top of a delicious sundae.
