The Golden State Warriors are one of the most exciting and up-and-coming teams in the league today. They also have one of the more exciting rookies in the NBA in Harrison Barnes.
Supposedly, his scouting report said that he isn’t athletic enough. But he already proved many critics wrong with this dunk over Nikola Pekovic. He did it again against the Milwaukee Bucks earlier in the week. And he proved the critics wrong one more time with this very scintillating play against the Toronto Raptors.
The Warriors pretty much had the game in hand, 107-98, with about a minute left. David Lee had the ball at the top of the key. Then he found Barnes on the right wing. Barnes went by DeMar DeRozan and found himself a wide open lane. Aaron Gray tried to stop Barnes and failed. Barnes yammed it on the big Raptors center and both fell in the process. He awkwardly landed on his left leg but would turn out to be okay.
Barnes would then tweet that he’ll take off with two feet next time, referring to that dunk on Gray. As long as Harrison Barnes dunks off one or two feet, we’re all good with it. Barnes once again has the NBA Play of the Day here at SportsCity.
