This one was a heartbreaker for the Houston Rockets.
It was a close game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Rockets on Wednesday night. The game was tied at 107 and Milwaukee had the basketball. Brandon Jennings brought up the basketball and was closely guarded by Jeremy Lin. Lin played some swarming defense so Jennings passed it to Ellis, who was at the top but about 27 feet away from the basket. Still, Ellis had enough space to get a shot off as Chandler Parsons was too far away. Once Ellis got the ball, he released it immediately while standing on one foot.
The ball rolled around the rim before it fell in. After that, the Bucks ran to the locker room, which was reminiscent of Derek Fisher and the Lakers running to the showers after the 0.4 shot.
It was a big game for both teams. The Bucks expanded their lead on the ninth-place Sixers to 5.5 games while the Rockets’ lead on the ninth-place Lakers fell to 2.5 games.
Hell of a shot by Monta.
