NBA All Time Assists Leaders

John Stockton is the runaway NBA all time assists leader. Stockton finished his 19 year career, all with the Utah Jazz, with almost 16,000 career NBA assists.

Currently, there are only 5 players in the history of the NBA who have recorded over 10,000 NBA career assists; John Stockton, Jason Kidd, Mark Jackson, Magic Johnson and Steve Nash.

Nash recorded his 10,000th assist on January 8th, 2013 against the Houston Rockets. He recorded the assist on an Antawn Jamison jump shot, just before the end of the half.

On April 8th, 2014, Nash passed Mark Jackon for 3rd on the all-time list.
