A scary moment happened between the first and second quarter as one of their female acrobats/entertainers, Jamie Woode, fell on her head during a performance gone wrong.
The game was delayed by several minutes as the medical team rushed to her aid. They were able to roll her off on a stretcher and as they left the arena floor, she was able to wave to the crowd, indicating that the fall wasn’t as bad as initially thought.
She was taken to Orlando Regional Hospital and it was mentioned that she was able to move her extremities.
A few reporters were there to see the horrific fall and tweeted about it.
Awful scene here in Orlando. One of the cheerleaders, thrown into the air, landed on her head.
