Taylor Hall Has Disciplinary Hearing This Afternoon

USATSI_8331416_154224518_lowresEdmonton Oilers forward Taylor Hall will have a disciplinary hearing at 2:30 PM this afternoon. The hearing will be over the phone, so the a suspension would be five games or less.

During the third period of last night’s game against the Minnesota Wild, Hall received a five minute major for kneeing Cal Clutterbuck, and 10 minute misconduct.

Clutterbuck did not have the puck, and did not see Hall coming. Hall hit Clutterbuck with his hip, more than his knee. Hall’s hip appears to drive into the upper part of Clutterbuck’s leg.

There hasn’t been an update on the injury this morning, but indications last night were that it might be a bad charleyhorse.
