The Charity Stripe: Sonicsgate Speaks; The Running Of The Wizards

NBA: Washington Wizards at Charlotte BobcatsThe Charity Stripe is a collection of links around the NBA. They may not have gotten their own posts on here but that doesn’t mean they’re not worth reading. Go ahead and hit ‘em from the Charity Stripe.

The producers of Sonicsgate write an open letter to the Sacramento Kings fans as they tell them about all the emotions they went through when the Sonics were being taken away.

Carmichael Dave has also started a campaign. A variation of “Here We Stay” has been made as they want local owners to buy the Sacramento Kings. Basically, Here We Buy.

Erik O from Clips Nation discusses the Clippers’ much-improved defense. The Clippers are third in defensive rating, which is way more improved than their ranking of 18th last season.

Mike Prada from Bullets Forever talked about how the Wizards ran all over the Magic in transition. Washington seems to be a better team when they’re on a fast pace.

Celtics Town had a nice post-game interview with Rajon Rondo where he gives credit to former NBA guard Keyon Dooling, among other things.

Andrew Ungvari from Lakers Nation talks about Mike D’Antoni’s proclamation about the season starting on Sunday. All the Lakers can do is forget about the past and keep moving forward. Their win against the Cavs was a good start.

Nate Drexler of Magic Basketball talked about J.J. Redick becoming a valuable player for whoever trades for him. He feels Redick has nothing but expand his trade value and has basically left the Magic little choice but to deal him while that trade value is still really high.

Shaky Ankles talks about trolling Lakers fans. Trolling team fan bases in general isn’t hard but the Laker fan base may be one of the easier ones to antagonize.

I really miss the Stay In School ads by the NBA.
