Video: Andre Miller Blocks Derrick Favors’ Dunk

I know we gave the Play of the Day to Chase Budinger’s game-winning lay-up.

But we’d be amiss to ignore this incredible defensive play by Denver’s Andre Miller. I can’t believe I just typed that sentence.

Utah’s Derrick Favors was basically going to go up for a two-handed slam. But watch Miller streak down the key and… make the highest leap of his life.

Yes. I still can’t believe it. 36-year-old Andre Miller. The same Andre Miller who has that rec league game because he’s one of the most unathletic players in the league. The same Andre Miller who was booed in the Rookie Challenge because he chose to do a lay-up on a breakaway.

And the same Andre Miller that stuffed the heck out of Derrick Favors’ dunk.
