Video: Nuggets JaVale McGee Bounces Ball Off Glass For The Jam

uspw_6731940JaVale McGee of the Denver Nuggets has been known to do a lot of wacky things on the court. In seemingly every game, he would do some kind of boneheaded move that would grab headlines. JaVale’s follies are so popular that it seems like he’s on Shaquille O’Neal’s Inside The NBA segment, “Shaqtin’ A Fool,” all the time. Whether he was running back on defense when his team has the ball or he’s throwing 50-foot lobs while tripping on his own feet and falling into Ty Lawson, JaVale McGee is one entertaining cat.

But this time around, he did something pretty spectacular and intelligent. I know. It’s not often we say intelligent when we’re talking about JaVale McGee (okay, okay, I’m kidding).

In Wednesday’s game between the Denver Nuggets and the Houston Rockets, McGee got the ball on the foul line and dribbled a bit inside where Omer Asik was waiting. McGee faked and Omer bit on it. He had a clear path to the basket but seemed to have a bad angle on the shot. McGee then bounced the ball off the glass, caught it with one hand and jammed it.

After that jam, he made a goofy face then made a fingerstache. In a way, the celebration was better than the dunk itself. You gotta love it.

Never change, JaVale McGee. Keep us entertained with your moves whether it’s goofy or spectacular.
