Raiders Video: Marshawn Lynch Performs Agility Training At Beach In Boots

General manager Reggie McKenzie, head coach Jack Del Rio and the Oakland Raiders have done an outstanding job re-vitalizing their roster towards the 2017 season. Offseason additions Marshawn Lynch, Jelani Jenkins and Cordarrelle Patterson join a defensively focused 2017 NFL Draft, boasting the Raiders as the premiere AFC team to dethrone the New England Patriots.

Lynch was perhaps the most vocal and notarized addition this offseason, as the Oakland native now has a chance to lead his hometown team to a championship before they depart for Las Vegas. The 31-year-old is set to take over the backfield behind the NFL’s premiere offensive line.

The five-time Pro Bowler has always shown a determination to succeed, with moves and evasiveness on the field that can’t be replicated. In an offseason workout with trainer Luis Badillo, Lynch is seen doing running back drills at the beach, while wearing boots in the sand:

The one-time Super Bowl champions return to the NFL after a year hiatus, signaling a fresh start and desire to succeed. After a week of getting acclimated to the roster, ‘Beast Mode’ participated in the voluntary workouts with his teammates, already creating a welcoming environment with his teammates.

Lynch has always been active in his community, which is a main reason why the city has embraced the running back. He regularly hosts many philanthropic events to help the city of Oakland, including giving away 2,000 tickets to local children to a water park.

His contract is filled with many incentives based on production, on top of his two-year, $9 million contract. Lynch rounds out an already explosive Raiders offense, with championship aspirates going into 2017.
